Amano is a pool tester for service teams. It uses liquid reagent. It tests free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity. Amano normally tests twice a day. You can change the test times.

Amano can send an alert after a test. It saves the result and test time. Built-in cellular sends the data. This helps you spot a pool that may need a check.

Amano does not add pool chemicals. It does not run your route. Keep all hand tests and site checks. Follow local rules and your site plan.

Know where to look first

A pool route may have many sites. Most may be fine. A few may need help. With no new test, the site may call you first.

A set test gives you a new sign. You get four reads and a test time. An alert can flag a read that is out of range. Your pool tech must find the cause and pick the next step.

Does commercial pool monitoring require property Wi-Fi?
Amano does not need site Wi-Fi. It has built-in cellular. The site still needs a fit 2-inch return line, 120V, 40 GPM or more, and 10 PSI or more.
