For Commercial Pool Service Companies

Which commercial pool needs you next?

Amano tests installed pools at set times between visits. When a read is outside your set range, your team gets the flag and checks the pool.

How it works

From each test
to the next route task.

Amano goes on a pool return line. It runs liquid tests for free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity. It normally tests twice a day. You can change the times. Built-in cellular sends each result.

1

Run the set test

A new liquid test checks all four pool values. It is not a wet probe or live feed.

2

Check the flag

Amano can send an alert after a test. Your team checks the pool and uses the site plan.

3

Keep the handoff

The result and test time stay in the log for the next pool tech, route lead, or client call.

Set liquid tests

Check free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity. You can change the test times.

Built-in cellular

Results reach the app with no site Wi-Fi. You do not need the site IT team.

Alerts after a test

Amano can flag a pool read that is out of range. A pool tech still picks the next step.

Saved pool logs

Amano saves each done test and its time. Keep all hand logs that your local rules need.

Why teams start looking

The next visit may be too late to explain the gap.

Amano adds scheduled liquid tests and time-marked records. It gives the team more facts. It does not replace the checks, work, or local approval the pool needs.

“The pool changed after our stop.”

A busy evening can change the water. A later scheduled test gives the team one more result to check.

“The health department shut us down.”

Follow the local order first. Then review the timed results, checks, actions, and handoff. No monitor can promise to prevent a closure.

“We do not trust a wet probe alone.”

ORP is not free chlorine ppm. Amano runs a new liquid-reagent test at each set time.

Chemistry logs

Find the log
before anyone asks.

Amano saves each completed test and its time. Share the history with an owner, site lead, or the next technician. A reading does not prove a visit or chemical addition, and local rules still say which logs count.

Alerts after each test

Check a bad read. Do not dose from the alert.

Amano can send an alert after a test. It can flag a read that is out of range. Amano does not add pool chemicals. A pool tech must check the read and use the label, site plan, and local rules.

An alert tells you to look. It does not take the place of hand tests or a pool tech. See what set pool tests cannot do.

Liquid pool tests

A new liquid test each time.

Many pool tools use a wet probe. Amano uses a liquid cartridge for its set pool tests.

Not a wet probe
Amano uses a new liquid test, not a wet probe.
A new test each time
Each read comes from a new liquid test. A sensor does not sit in the pool.
Swap the liquid cartridge

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Amano send alerts or keep logs?
It does both. Amano can send an alert after a test. It also saves the result and test time.
Is Amano a live pool feed?
No. Amano normally tests twice a day. You can change the test times and rate. These are set tests, not a live feed.
Does Amano add pool chemicals or replace hand tests?
No. It does not add pool chemicals. Keep all hand tests and site checks. Follow local rules, product labels, and your site plan.
What does Amano test?
Free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity. It uses liquid reagent, not a wet probe. It is made for commercial pools, not home pool floats.
Do I need Wi-Fi or an IT set up?
No. Amano has built-in cellular. Cell service is in the plan. There is no Wi-Fi set up.
Where does the unit go?
It goes on a 2-inch return line. It sits after the filter and before other gear. It needs 120V, 40 GPM or more, and 10 PSI or more.
How do alerts and logs work?
Amano can send an alert after a test. Each pool log has the test time. Share it by QR code with no new login. Keep all hand logs that local rules need.
Can Amano work next to a pool controller?
It may work next to a controller on a fit return line. It does not run or replace the controller. We do not claim that the two tools link.
Is Amano pool route software?
No. A route app plans work, saves job notes, and may run bills. Amano is an inline pool tester with alerts, logs, and a view of all your pools.
Can Amano stop pool call backs?
A set test gives your team one more chance to see a bad pool read first. Amano does not claim that it will stop each pool issue or call back.
How does the liquid cartridge work?
Swap the liquid cartridge each month. A new one is in the plan. You can see more than one site in the app.
