What Amano builds
Amano normally runs two scheduled tests per day, with adjustable timing and frequency. It measures free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity. Completed readings are timestamped, can trigger post-test alerts, and can be shared through a QR-accessible record. Built-in cellular means the device does not depend on property Wi-Fi.
Amano is not a chemical controller or feeder. It does not dose, test cyanuric acid, replace manual tests or inspections, or decide what an operator should do. Local health-department requirements, the adopted code, facility procedures, chemical labels, equipment instructions, and operator judgment remain in control.
Who it is for
The primary use case is a commercial pool service company or multi-property operator that wants another opportunity to notice a chemistry exception between visits, create a clearer technician handoff, or retrieve a timestamped record while an account is being reviewed.
A qualifying installation uses a 2-inch return line after the filter and before other return-line equipment, a standard 120V outlet, and at least 40 GPM and 10 PSI at the install point. Site fit should be confirmed with Amano rather than assumed from a webpage.
